Ginger Chicken Porridge
This wholesome chicken porridge paired with ginger is a simple must-try recipe for your little ones' well being. Chicken contains many nutrients that your little one needs to thrive, including vitamins B6 and B12, iron, zinc and vitamin B3.
Ingredients
For homemade chicken stock:
500g chicken bones, cleaned
20 young ginger slices
2 sprigs of spring onions 700ml water
For chicken porridge:
5 tablespoons CERELAC Rice
30g chicken fillet, steamed and cut into small pieces
20g potatoes, steamed and mashed
150ml warm homemade chicken stock

Cooking Instructions
1. To make chicken stock, place all the ingredients together in a pot and simmer till water is halved.
2. Strain the stock into another clean pot or store in jars. Extra stock can be frozen.
3. To make chicken porridge, place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. If the porridge is too thick, add in more chicken stock to desired consistency. -
